Safari for iPhone has been crashing for some customers that enter three-letter phrases like “bes,” “wal,” or “tar” into the deal with bar, which can be brought on by a server-side Google drawback.
A number of experiences from customers describe an odd bug that causes Safari to crash each time particular search phrases are entered. These phrases look like the primary letters of a retail chain like Finest Purchase or Goal, however past that, no sample has emerged.
The bug is not reproducible by everybody, so it seems to be some type of server-side difficulty for these affected. The bug happens by opening Safari and typing “wal,” “bes,” or “tar” into the deal with bar. Safari crashes in some cases with out additional enter, or when an area is entered.
Since this seems to be a server-side difficulty, it is going to be as much as Apple or Google to implement the repair. As of two:26 PM ET, the issue appears to be slowly fixing itself. It is not clear if it was an Apple- or Google-related drawback, nor are both speaking.
